So many times women's surfing gets over-looked, just like every other women's sport. The ladies aren't even given a chance. Sponsors won't pick up events, ASP cuts their season short... it's honestly ridiculous sometimes.

I created this "women's surfing" profile in July of 2011, starting with twitter, then moving on to facebook and this blog. I created it to spread respect and awareness about women's surfing.

I can only hope that people will grow in their recognition of the lady surfers' talent and appreciate them more.

It's time the women left their footprints in the sands of the surfing world...
